Double Trouble:

Hannah and I are always up for an adventure.
The Drive

I think God thinks sunglasses are cool. Or else He wouldn't have created the sun.
I think rearview mirrors are so cool.

I also thought my passenger was cute.
"Have you seen my sunglasses?"
I personally don't generally talk on the phone when I'm driving... It's too much of a distraction. That's why I bring Hannah. She's my portable receptionist.

Rear view mirrors can be distracting too. This is why I bring my camera with me.

Um, and this is why we buckle up!
The Studio Sessions

First time in a recording studio, and I was what you could call
nervous.

Concentrating really hard...

...and glad for a little comic relief from the control room.

Speaking of the control room...
Oh dear, did I perplex the producer?

Gotta keep these guys happy.
At studio 2 (that's what I call it anyway) we had time to add some mandolin licks to a few songs.
Go Hannah!
Yet another producer.
Hannah does the "wiggle".
Homeward Bound
My portable receptionist is amazing. Not only does she take calls for me on the road, fill in mandolin licks for the songs I worked on, but she pumps gas for me too. Too bad she doesn't pay for it.
Oh, guess sometimes I do talk on the phone and drive....
For a more detailed account, go here. PHOTO CREDITS:The photos lacking my signet are special compliments of my amazing portable receptionist.

Love ya!
wow! what an experience. you must be pretty talented to be able to do that - referring to what you wrote on FeminineEspresso. Playing by ear stumps me at times!!
What a day!!!
And what talented ladies you are!
Okay....so I know I haven't commented over here for a LOOOOONG time, but know that I have been following your blog still. :) I suppose I could give the lame old excuse that while we were on the road, my internet time just wasn't adequate!
So glad to hear the report that things went so well!!! PTL!! (Do you give out autogrpahs now, too?! *teehee*) Love all the pics -- though it makes me miss you more and think that you really need to come back to Nebraska... :) this time you should bring your amazing portable receptionist/photographer/mandolin player/gas attendant with you. :D Way to go, Hannah!
Love and (((hugs))) from a girl in Nebraska!
Looks like fun!!
