I'm sitting here as wide awake as ever. I'm afraid it is no secret that I tend to fall under the night owl category, and when my sister and her family are on their way to Wisconsin I might as well take on big eyes, wise brain, beak and a hoot since sleep seems the farthest thing from me.
My life has been filled to the brim with about a million things including painting, reorganizing, canning, freezing, and on the list goes. People ask me all the time, "So do you have a job?" You better believe I do! A couple dozen jobs to be honest. The pay's rotten, I'm telling you, but the benefits are awesome.
I get to be a big part in the lives of the people I love the most. I have nothing to tie me down to Wisconsin soil when Nebraska and my far-away-family beckons. Tomorrow morning I won't have to eat a fast bowl of cold cereal, grab my purse and kiss my beloved little visiting niece and nephew goodbye for the day.
I'm so grateful for this season in my life where my needs are met, I'm surrounded by the people I love and I don't have to face the cold, daily pressure out there. I realize that God's plans and ways far exceed my own, so I couldn't tell you what He might have me doing a week from now. I do however believe I know what His plans are for me tomorrow--or actually, later today--I think He's planning on me loving on my kids.
Here come my cuddle bugs!

Great post! Don't we have it so good? Enjoy your time with the kids! I'm sure they are dying to see you!
I'm happy for you Britt! I know you'll have a wonderful time with your little ones back.
Love ya!
I hope you have the best time with your nieces and nephews. You can tell y'all love each other so much.
The horse and buggy are precious. Is it yours?

The horse is Tabby's "Black Stallion" and the cart is something Levi constructed. It's made for many happy hours, even for Jemima the pekinese. :)
Well, please tell Levi he did a great job on the cart. It's so pretty. I want to ride in it too! :)
